Private to Public Company CFO Support to Higher Ed

Tim was Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Siembra Mobile Inc. a Silicon Valley Ed Tech company working with Stanford University's Graduate School of Education Senior Researchers, improving college enrollments. Tim was responsible for articulating the company’s vision, mission and values with internal and external stakeholders, as well as supporting and enhancing the company’s mission and overall operations. In partnership with the leadership team drove execution and innovation aimed at three objectives:

  • Ensuring current and future in-demand cloud solutions for improving college enrollment.

  • Enabling community colleges, universities and employers to bring their strategies to life through strategic partnerships.

  • Helping communities meet the urgent need to upskill the next generation to thrive in a work world reshaped by technology and automation.

 

Before founding SMI, Tim spent more than two decades as a leader, director and CFO for various Silicon Valley technology companies. As part of technology leadership teams, Tim helped redefine how the leading companies make their most important decisions through analyzing performance data directly linking operations, capital investment and rates of return at the programmatic level.  Under his leadership, performance management could be established across product offerings and the organization to properly forecast future earnings in relation to the firms cost of capital. A critical board review every quarter designed to communicate risk metrics to the decision makers. Private to public company commonality, building business cases for investable returns building teams to increase stakeholder value.
